With spectacular views perched at 10,550 feet, the restaurant is located at the top of the gondola. There is a 40 foot wall of glass with impeccable views overlooking Telluride. The New Sheridan Chop House offers a diverse menu of prime beef, farm-fresh game, seafood and pasta in a recently restored building from the 1800’s. The Chop House consistently has the best steaks in Telluride. The New Sheridan Chophouse also reflects ecologically sound purchasing, only using non threatened fish species and seafood, which is flown in three times weekly, and organic hormone free chicken and duck that is free range or Amish raised.
